Jeffress, who was removed from Monday's game against the Twins by manager Craig Counsell after narrowly avoiding a line drive hit at his head, did not report any issues Tuesday, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress fell awkwardly to the ground after snagging the liner in his direction and stayed down for a few moments, which prompted Counsell to take him out of the game. However, Counsell said after the game he removed Jeffress for precautionary reasons, and Jeffress confirmed that Tuesday when asked. Jeffress threw just 16 pitches Monday in his first appearance in five days, so he should be good to go Tuesday if needed.

Manager Craig Counsell stated after Monday's game against the Twins that Jeffress appears to have avoided any kind of injury, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
It looked as though Jeffress may have tweaked his knee after landing awkwardly near the mound on a comebacker, but he was simply removed at his manager's discretion. The right-hander was evaluated shortly after leaving the ballgame and passed all of the medical staff's tests.

Jeffress needed assistance getting off the field after recording the third out of the fifth inning, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. He walked one and retired one batter before being lifted.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress landed awkwardly after gloving a line drive that just missed hitting him in the head. He spent a few minutes on the ground before the team trainer helped him off the field. The nature of the right-hander's injury is unknown at this point, but he was spotted heading to the clubhouse for further evaluation.

Jeffress allowed an earned run while pitching 1.2 innings of relief in Wednesday's victory over the Phillies, but according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, manager Craig Counsell was "very encouraged" by Jeffress's velocity in the outing.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress has gradually been increasing the speed on his fastball since making his season debut in mid-April. He's now finally back to where he was last year, as he sat in the 95-to-96 mile-per-hour range Wednesday and touched 97 on the gun. Jeffress allowed three earned runs over his last 2.2 innings after allowing just two over his first 10 frames of the season, but with his best fastball back in his arsenal, there's ample reason to believe he will be more effective moving forward. While Jeffress made the All-Star Game and notched 15 saves last year, his late start to this season currently has him behind both Josh Hader and Junior Guerra on the Brewers' bullpen ladder.

Jeffress recorded his first hold of the season with a perfect eighth inning in Monday's victory over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress has mainly filled a middle relief role since making his season debut April 17, but his velocity has increased of late, which has led manager Craig Counsell to start using him in key spots again. He took another step with his fastball Monday, sitting at 94 and touching 95 mph, and it's likely he will remain part of the Brewers' late-inning mix moving forward, along with Josh Hader and Junior Guerra.

Jeffress tossed two scoreless innings out of the bullpen in Thursday's loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress allowed an earned run in each of his previous two outings, but he was sharp Thursday, retiring all six of the batters he faced, one via strikeout. Jeffress has still not been added to the Brewers' late-inning mix since making his debut April 17, but his fastball sat at 93/94 Thursday for the second outing in a row, so he could be close to being back to the form that earned him a spot in his first All-Star Game a year ago.

Jeffress tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Monday's loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress has been used in low-leverage situations since making his debut last week, but he may be getting close to rejoining the late-inning mix, as he was summoned from the bullpen in the sixth inning with the Brewers trailing by just a lone run, and got the job done. Jeffress is still not throwing as consistently hard as he was a year ago, but he is showing signs of progress in that regard, hitting 92 mph or higher on all 11 of his four- and two-seam fastballs Monday -- and topping out at 94 mph -- after touching 92 just three times on eight total fastballs over his first two appearances of the season.

Jeffress recorded two outs, one via strikeout, in his 2019 debut Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell wanted to ease Jeffress into action after he returned from the injured list, and he did just that, using him in the eighth inning in a game the Brewers trailed 6-2 when Jeffress entered. Jeffress allowed seven earned runs in 4.1 innings over four rehab outings, but he got the job done in his first big-league outing of the season. Jeffress sat in the low 90s and topped out at 93 mph Wednesday, so he still has a bit of velocity to regain. As long as he is able to add a few ticks to his fastball, and once he is able to build up his stamina, he should find himself working in higher-leverage spots again.

Jeffress (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jeffress will be available out of the bullpen for the first time this season after missing the first few weeks due to a shoulder issue. He'll be a welcome sight for the Brewers, who lost their bonified closer, Corey Knebel, before the 2019 campaign even started.

Jeffress (shoulder) will not be activated from the injured list Monday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell indicated over the weekend that Jeffress would be activated either Monday or Tuesday, depending on the team's bullpen needs. The veteran right hander figures to assume a high-leverage relief role once healthy, though the Brewers could ease him back into action with lower-leverage work.
