According to Buster Olney of ESPN, Jeremy Bonderman is progressing well in his recovery from Tommy John surgery and is intent on making a return to the MLB in 2013.
Bonderman underwent Tommy John surgery in April of 2012 and hasn't pitched in the big leagues since posting a disappointing 5.53 ERA over 171 innings with the Tigers in 2010. He's allegedly dropped 35 pounds and is in fantastic shape, and should be able to generate a spring training invitation from somewhere.

Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that Jeremy Bonderman underwent elbow reconstruction surgery Tuesday "with the intent of working his way back to the big leagues next spring."
Bonderman didn't pitch at all last season after posting a 5.53 ERA over 171 innings for the Tigers in 2010. He's still just 29 years old, so he figures to get a spring training invite somewhere, but the odds are against him making a major league roster.
