Young was released by the Orioles on Thursday. Young, who was rumored to be on the trade block, will end up a free agent after a disappointing half-season at the plate. After hitting .302 last season, Young has posted a .270/.389/.339 slash line in 2015. The veteran shouldn't have any trouble finding a new team, as he's much more appealing to bring in as a free agent, as opposed to via trade.
