Yankees signed INF Brendan Harris to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Harris batted .206/.252/.355 with four homers and nine RBI in 107 at-bats with the Angels earlier this season. The Yankees will be happy to have him around as minor league depth.
