Yankees acquired OF Vernon Wells and cash considerations from the Angels for OF Exicardo Cayones and LHP Kramer Sneed. The deal is official. As part of the agreement, the Yankees will reportedly cover around $14 million of the $42 million left on Wells' contract. The 34-year-old is set to make his Yankees' debut on Tuesday night and will serve as the team's primary left fielder in the early part of the season. He'll be worth a look in AL-only and deeper mixed leagues, but we're not expecting a renaissance in the Bronx.
