Wright was designated for assignment Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports. There should at least be a market for a previously successful left-handed specialist, so there's a good chance Wright finds a team for the second half of the season. He never did face a left-handed batter in his two appearances with Baltimore, which makes 2015's sample even less useful in evaluating his value.
