Wright (shoulder) remained in New York on Wednesday to receive a second opinion on his ailing shoulder, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
General manager Sandy Alderson already expressed some concern in The Captain's ability to be ready for Opening Day, and a second opinion certainly doesn't instill confidence in those hoping for a clean bill of health. The plan is still to have Wright return to camp later this week, but it's unclear as to how much activity he'll actually be able to take part in. As things stand now, things don't look great, but a full diagnosis should be available relatively soon.
