Wright (shoulder) could begin throwing a baseball again in a couple of weeks, The New York Post reports. "I've got to finish the shoulder program that our team doctors have given me to complete,'' Wright said Friday. "Once that's completed then we'll try throwing again and hopefully it's relatively pain free.''
EDGE Analysis
He's set to remain in extended spring training once the regular season begins, but if Wright's current rehab goes well he'll at least have a shot at returning to the Mets' lineup within the first month of the season. Until he's able to throw a ball without pain, though, his baseball future remains cloudy.
