Wright (neck) is unsure if he can return this season, James Wagner of the New York Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Two weeks after cervical disectomy and fusion surgery, Wright is saying that he is unsure if he will be able to return in 2016. The 33-year-old also has a condition called spinal stenosis, which narrows the spine and causes pain, weakness, and numbness, that could further delay his recovery time. The third baseman is still a ways away from resuming baseball activities and a return to the majors this season appears highly questionable.
