Wilson (5-5) shut down the Diamondbacks on Thursday, striking out nine while giving up just one run on eight hits in eight innings. He didn't walk a batter for the second time in three starts, and that's no mean feat for a guy like Wilson, who's been dogged by control issues throughout his career. And holding the D-Backs -- the National League's most productive offense -- to one run in their hitter-friendly home ballpark is a darn fine accomplishment too. The veteran lefty is in the midst of by far the finest of his four seasons as an Angel, and he's responded to a pair of blowups by posting two consecutive dominant outings. He'll look to make it three when he faces the Astros on Tuesday.
