White Sox acquired OF Blake Tekotte from the Padres for a player to be named later. Tekotte was designated for assignment by the Friars last week after posting an underwhelming .686 OPS in 89 games this past season at Triple-A Tuscon. He will function as organizational outfield depth for Chicago.
