Wells signed a minor league deal with the Tigers on Friday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.The last stint Wells had in the majors was with Philadelphia in 2013 where he played a total of 12 games. Taking this into consideration, it would be somewhat surprising if the 30-year-old spent significant time in Detroit this season.
