Victorino (calf) re-signed with the Cubs on Tuesday on a minor league deal, Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago reports.

Victorino had been released earlier in the day, but he was able to work out a new agreement to stay with the club. The 35-year-old is dealing with a calf injury that will sideline him for the beginning of the season, but he figures to head to Triple-A Iowa once he returns to full healthy.
