Vernon Wells went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored in a 5-3 win over the Blue Jays in 11 innings on Saturday. Wells singled in the top of the 11th and scored the go-ahead run after Aaron Loup made a wild throw on a bunt by Ichiro Suzuki. The veteran outfielder has homered in consecutive days and now has five longballs through 15 games. He had just 11 homers in 77 games with the Angels last season.
