Vernon Wells went 3-for-4 and clubbed his first homer as a Yankee in Wednesday's loss to the Red Sox. The three-run shot, which came in the eighth inning off Alfredo Aceves, was preceded by a single and a double. Wells walked and scored a run in his first game in pinstripes, so he's been one of the few players on the team that's done a little something early on. Travis Hafner also hit his first homer as a Yankee Wednesday.
