Vernon Wells is expected to take his physical for the Yankees on Tuesday in Tampa, Florida. The trade won't be official until the physical is completed. The Yankees are going to pay $13 million of the $42 million left on Wells' contract, which makes it a relatively decent deal for Anaheim. Wells is expected to start against all left-handers and some righties in New York.
