Vernon Wells hit a two-run homer off the Royals' James Shields on Saturday, powering the Yankees to a 3-2 win. The fifth-inning blast was the only hit in four at-bats for Wells, but it proved to be the difference in the game. The shockingly productive season continues for the veteran outfielder, who is now hitting .281/.331/.500 with eight long balls and 18 RBI. As long as he continues to mash, he needs to be owned and started in most fantasy formats.
