Twins recalled LHP Pedro Hernandez from Triple-A Rochester. He'll presumably slide into the rotation spot vacated by Samuel Deduno (shoulder). Hernandez holds a 5.54 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over 37 1/3 big league innings this season.
