T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports that Tommy Hanson's status "remains in limbo," with the Rangers needing to decide by Wednesday whether they'll guarantee his contract. Hanson inked a major league deal last month but the contract wasn't guaranteed, so the Rangers could cut him loose with minimal financial repercussions. That said, with the status of the club's banged-up rotation, Hanson could still make the team in spite of a 6.43 Cactus League ERA.
