Tigers recalled RHP Jose Ortega from Triple-A Toledo. Ortega, 23, has a 4.23 ERA and a 48/34 K/BB ratio in 38 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this season. He'll provide a fresh arm to a taxed bullpen.
