Thomas was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. The Dodgers needed to make room for Pedro Baez, who was activated from the disabled list for the corresponding transaction. Thomas has only made one big-league appearance since the Dodgers acquired him from the Braves in late May.
