The Reds have declined Hannahan's option for the 2015 season, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports. The move was more of a formality, as after Hannahan's 2014 campaign, in which he slashed .188/.220/.250 in just 26 games, there was very little chance the team would pick up his option. At 35 years old by the start of the 2015 season, it seems unlikely that he'll command a lot of attention, though he could still land somewhere on a major league roster.
