The Orioles plan to activate Taylor Teagarden (back) from the 15-day disabled list prior to Friday's game. Teagarden is 3-for-15 (.200) over six rehab games between the GCL Orioles and Double-A Bowie. He suffered a bruised right hand on Sunday, but is slated to play with Low-A Delmarva on Wednesday. Barring any setbacks over the next two days, the O's will likely activate him on Friday. Ronny Paulino, who has served as the backup catcher this season, will soon be the odd-man out.
