Taylor Teagarden blasted a walkoff two-run homer, leading the Orioles to an 8-6 victory over the Tigers in 13 innings on Friday. It was Teagarden's first game since coming off the 60-day DL, and he made an immediate impact. He finished the night 1-for-2 with the critical blow off Joaquin Benoit in the 13th inning. The unlikeliest of heroes, Teagarden had hit just .250 with no homers and three RBI over 24 minor league at-bats on the year. He'll serve as the Orioles primary backup catcher behind Matt Wieters.
