Street's rehab assignment has been put on hold after he was diagnosed with right triceps tendinitis, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

It was reported earlier in the week that Street was on pace to be activated off the disabled list next week, but that's unlikely to be the case following Thursday's news. The Angels will shut down Street for the time being until the soreness in his arm subsides, at which point there will be a new timetable for his return. In the meantime, Bud Norris will continue to close for the Angels.
