Street didn't record an out while blowing his second save of the season Tuesday against the Astros. He walked two and gave up two hits, including a two-run walk-off drive courtesy of Carlos Correa.
EDGE Analysis
After Street loaded the bases with two walks and an infield single, Correa laced a 3-2 pitch into the gap, scoring George Springer and Marwin Gonzalez to win the game. Street's second blown save of the season (and second in his last three appearances) spoiled a solid outing from Hector Santiago. Injuries and poor performances in the Angels bullpen will likely help keep his job safe in the short-term. However, the veteran has shown regression in many on his peripheral and the team may be forced to make a move if Street continues down the path he's been traveling this month.
