Street (back) recently underwent a platelet-rich plasma injection and is now on track to resume throwing Tuesday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The veteran reliever reportedly had a positive meeting with team doctors Thursday and was given the go-ahead to resume throwing in the near future. The Angels are now targeting Tuesday as Street's first day back on his throwing program. Still, the Angels will likely be patient with Street as he works his way back given his injury history. Cam Bedrosian appears to be locked in as the Angels' closer for at least the early portion of the season.
