Street (back) is expecting to be activated from the disabled list sometime next week, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Street has now made three rehab appearances, including back-to-back outing over the weekend, so he appears to be close to a return to the big club. He's allowed two runs on two hits with a 3:0 K:BB through 2.2 innings during his rehab stint with Triple-A. It's unclear what role Street will resume upon activation, as Bud Norris has pitched well as the Angels' interim closer and Cam Bedrosian (groin) is nearing a return from the DL as well.
