Soriano made his debut in the Cubs organization Monday, striking out three batters in a scoreless inning for Double-A Tennessee, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports. Soriano jumped out to a quick start, although he did allow a hit in the outing. He hopes to join the Chicago bullpen at some point after the All-Star break, and a strong stint in the minors would help his chances of pitching in save situations.
