Skip Schumaker owns a weak .146/.293/.167 batting line in 58 plate appearances this season with the Dodgers. Schumaker has just one extra-base hit. He was acquired this winter from the Cardinals in exchange for infield prospect Jake Lemmerman, who is starting at shortstop and doing pretty well at the plate with Double-A Springfield.
