San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Tim Lincecum, who last pitched June 27 because of a forearm strain, played catch on flat ground Saturday, according to CSN Bay Area. Lincecum, who also is suffering from degernaritive problems in his hips, is expected to throw from flat ground for a few more days before throwing off of a mound.
