Ryan Sweeney (rib) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment this coming Saturday. Sweeney will start out in the rookie-level Arizona League and wind his way through the Cubs' farm system until he is deemed fit for major league games. The Cubs are expecting him back on or around September 1.
