Ruggiano (shoulder) was outrighted off the 40-man roster by the Mets on Friday, but elected free agency.

Ruggiano produced fairly well at the plate, but his season was cut short after he underwent shoulder surgery in mid-September. The 34-year-old can play all three outfield spots and has shown some flashes of excellence at the plate, so he could be a NRI sleeper for any team willing to sign him the fact that he's still recovering from the shoulder issue.
