Ruggiano, batting leadoff for the first time this season, walked twice, stole a base and scored two runs in a win at Texas on Monday. Ruggiano has had limited playing time as the right-handed platoon with Seth Smith in left field. The Mariners' leadoff possibilities are slim, so maybe he could stick atop the order.
