Ruggiano agreed to a one-year, $2.505 million contract with the Mariners on Friday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Ruggiano was traded to the Mariners from the Cubs in the offseason after serving in a reserve role i9n 2014. He finished the season with a solid .281/.337/.429 batting line with six home runs and 28 RBI, and figures to compete for the Mariners' starting right fielder job in 2015.
