Roy Halladay labored again in Monday's loss to the Mets, allowing seven runs over four-plus innings. Halladay flat out couldn't put hitters away. He allowed six hits (including a three-run homer by John Buck), three walks and hit a batter. Phillies manager Charlie Manuel brought the hook after he gave up three straight hits to begin the fifth inning. This is the first time Halladay has allowed five or more runs in consecutive starts since joining the Phillies. It's also the first time that he has gone four innings or fewer in back-to-back starts since 2004. His ERA sits at 14.73 through two starts. Something just isn't right.
