Roth signed a contract with the Indians with an invite to major league camp. Roth elected free agency after being designated for assignment by the Angels in November, and he'll try to crack the big league roster in spring training. The lefty struggled in seven appearances in the majors last season, but was 11-7 with a 2.62 ERA in 22 starts at Double-A in 2014.
