Ross performed a rare feat Thursday, picking off a runner to get the last out of the game. Also rare: Ross has started each of the last three games. He's just 1-for-9 with five strikeouts in that span, but it looks like he'll have an uptick of playing time with Welington Castillo completely out of the picture. While Ross is certainly Jon Lester's personal catcher, he hasn't usurped Miguel Montero as the starter yet.
