Rosin was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh on Sunday. Philadelphia needed a starter for Sunday and Rosin was the lowest on the bullpen depth chart, so he was the one to go down. He didn't exactly impress in his sole relief appearance in the majors, allowing five runs and seven hits in two innings of relief work against the Cardinals on Saturday. There's a decent chance he returns to the big leagues thanks to the volatility in the Phillies' pitching staff.
