Rodriguez is drawing interest from the Marlins, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
"We're putting our list together of options. [Rodriguez] is available, so he will be on that list," Marlins manager Don Mattingly told reporters. "We'll see where that goes." Many expected Rodriguez's career to be over following his release from the Yankees, but Rodriguez was evasive when confronted by reporters about if he had plans to retire. The Marlins have a need for offense after Giancarlo Stanton's injury, and Rodriguez may be the best available at this point, so there is at least some logic to the idea.
