Rockies recalled RHP Josh Roenicke from Triple-A Colorado Springs. He'll take the place of Jason Hammel (paternity leave) on the active roster. Roenicke, 29, hasn't given up a run over 8 1/3 innings with the Rockies this season while striking out eight and walking three. He should stick with the big club down the stretch.
