Ricky Romero was horrid again Wednesday, allowing three runs on eight hits and four walks over just four innings in a loss to the Mariners. Romero has now issued a league-leading 94 walks this season, and he also served up his 20th homer of the year. The Jays should exercise some mercy and just shut Romero down at this point, but so far they've been hesitant to do so. If he isn't shut down, Romero will carry a 5.87 ERA and 1.62 WHIP in a matchup against the Yankees that figures to be a bloodbath.
