Posey was removed from Wednesday's game against the Dodgers after taking a foul ball off his mask, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Posey was hit directly in the mask on a foul ball off the bat of AJ Pollock in the first inning. No official diagnosis has been given, but Posey will presumably have to be evaluated for a concussion. Curt Casali took over behind the plate.
