Cook signed a minor-league contract with the Marlins in January after playing in Japan last season. The 33-year-old was part of Miami's 60-man player pool during camp, but he'll hit free agency after failing to find a role with the club ahead of the regular season. Given Cook's lack of results over a limited sample in recent seasons, it's unlikely that he'll find significant playing time in the majors in 2020.
