Reds placed LHP Manny Parra on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 24, with a strained left pectoral muscle. The severity of the injury isn't yet clear. Parra, 30, has an 8.10 ERA and 7/3 K/BB ratio over 6 2/3 innings this season. Sean Marshall has been activated from the disabled list in a corresponding move.
