Reds designated OF Derrick Robinson for assignment. Robinson got the boot Tuesday to clear a roster spot for Skip Schumaker. The 26-year-old outfielder hit just .255/.322/.323 in 216 plate appearances this season for the Reds but he may draw interest from other teams.
