Richards (finger) is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Richards opened the season on the 10-day injured list with a blister on one of his fingers, so he's not expected to require more than one rehab appearance before being deemed ready to return from the shelf. If all goes well during Tuesday's outing, Richards will likely rejoin the Rangers and slot into the bullpen for the team's four-game series with the Angels that begins Thursday.
