The 34-year-old infielder has seen action at the big-league level in parts of eight seasons, with his last appearance coming with the Phillies in 2018. At this stage of his career, Florimon seems unlikely to get another look in the majors, but he'll at least provide the Padres organization with some experienced depth in the middle infield at Triple-A El Paso.
