Rangers signed C Chris Snyder to a minor league contract. Snyder was just given his release by the Nationals on Monday. The Rangers are a logical landing spot with Geovany Soto expected to miss 10-12 weeks following knee surgery, but the veteran backstop will likely begin the year in Triple-A.
