Ramon Hernandez (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs Wednesday. Hernandez has been out much longer than expected while recovering from a left hand injury, but he's finally ready to test it out in a game. He should return just after the All-Star break if he can avoid a setback, but he figures to play second fiddle behind Wilin Rosario.
